Hi I will be talking about Mood Mapping and self management of bipolar disorder in Grantham at the end of the month. If you are around it will be great to catch up with you
Hullo Liz, As you emailed me and kindly offered a copy of your book, I thought the very least I could do was visit your blog site. It certainly is something I would support, you are so obviously right. I wish you all good fortune and once I have read the book I feel sure I'll be publicising it at the link below. I feel enormously grateful to be where I am today. Because of my experiences, I want to change the way we think about and manage our physical and psychological health.
The word 'doctor' originally meant teacher, so I take both my vocations seriously ;-) and finally last but not least to have fun whilst doing all of the above.
As far as medicine is concerned - I am fascinated by people, the human psyche and human body, remembering that the mind and body are inseparable
I work in General Practice and Occupational health both of which I enjoy
Favorite sayings: "Difficult problems are not solved by an easy life"
"It is only an obsession, let it go"
and did I say I am Mind Mental Health Champion 2008 www.mind.org.uk - thanks to everyone for your support!
I have written a book on "extreme self help" called Mood Mapping
